Once again Friday is almost upon us and the sushi will soon be in our Tea Bistro again.

On the menu this week for Friday & Saturday:

• California Maki Roll - 8 pieces Shrimp Tempura Roll - 8 pieces Spicy Tuna Roll - 8 pieces
• Unagi (Eel) with avocado Roll - 8 pieces
• *CHANGE* Vegetarian: Asparagus Tempura with Caesar salad Roll - 8 pieces.

Each roll is on SPECIAL for only $25 CASH. *Special offer: Tea & Sushi pairing with luxury Blackberry Jasmine Green ICED tea for $31 CASH.

Special Today - Chaat (Indian Appetizer)

Well today we are doing a delicious mixed vegetable soup of pumpkin, sweet potatoes, broccoli, just to name a few, full of flavor and slightly spicy.

Along with this we are introducing our new line of appetizers with an Indian flair.  This is called Chaat, and many chaat tend towards the spicy, tangy side with lots of tamarind and yogurt.  We will start with aloo chaat - this is a potato based appetizer topped with a spicy tamarind sauce, yogurt, and drizzled with cilantro.  Other chaat to come online - kebabs, both vegetarian, and chicken with lamb to follow (remember NovelTeas only serves halal chicken and we are trying to source the lamb as well), bhel puri (this is a mixed appetizer of parched rice, diced onions and tomatoes and potatoes, all mixed into a tangy chutney).

Tofu and Paneer are set to follow soon.
